Girijyothi College, situated at Cheruthoni, colleges in Idukki district is one of the hosts of higher educational institutions of CMI Congregation. CMI is well branded for quality education for centuries. CMIs run thousands of prestigious educational institutions in india and abroad. The College is managed by Girijyothi Educational and Charitable Trust of CMI Carmel province, Muvattupuzha It is yet another prestigious educational endeavour of Girijyothi Group of Institutions. Girijyothi holds more than forty years of academic legacy in the high ranges of Kerala. The College creates an ambience conducive to high academic and professional competence, based on the Vision: Enlightenment, Innovation and Excellence.

The College, established in 2015, is holding its head high as a prestigious educational Endeavour of Girijyothi Group of Institutions is one of the colleges in idukki in the calm and beautiful hills of Idukki, the God’s own district of Kerala. The academic legacy spanning more than 40 years in the High Range Region inspired us to launch this initiative. Girijyothi College, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University as a self financing regular Arts and Science College, from the very beginning itself has proved to be an educational institution par-excellence in quality education.
