Al Azhar Group of Institutions (Al Azhar University), located at Thodupuzha, Kerala, is a centre of excellence in the heart of Idukki district. A humble beginning that started in the year 2002, under the aegis of Noorul Islam Trust, the group now has 45+ programs under 12 institutions with over 6,000 students. Al Azhar Festival is a venue to celebrate as well as experience the best of arts, science and culture. The festival is an amalgamation of fun, exhibition of talents as well as giving back to the community. Each fest is built to be a memorable occasion. With the festival being open to the public, it’s also a platform for all of Thodupuzha to come together, connect and experience the wonders our student community has to offer.
At Al Azhar University, we are constantly evolving to meet the changing needs and to take advantage of the latest technologies. Al-Azhar is always striving towards bettering the educational environment for the students as well the faculty. The state of the art facilities and resources complement teaching and makes learning an enjoyable process. Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus enables students to broaden their education and helps them stay on par with talents from around the Globe. Among others, the teaching aids include audio-visual multimedia LCDs, overhead projectors, video projection systems, CDs, DVDs and various management related freeware for social sciences and humanities.
